And a Happy New Binst

Binster jumps up and down on the Christmas/New Year chiasma with his lovely new song, The Guards Have Found a Dead Ninja. Go and locate this.

Merry Bandwidth

Thanks to all who came out last night, and also to everyone who has downloaded the Christmaas Maash, causing my bandwidth to implode. Nice. The Maash will remain up for a while, but then suddenly disappear from whence it came. Ooh.

I was offered a New Year's Eve gig at one point earlier this year, but this may not come to fruition. If not, you won't see me live again for a while, because the laptop still needs some fixin'. I will supply information when I have it.

And now back to watching terrible Christmas Eve movies.

Raaw Xmas Maash Damijj!

My lovely mash, as performed at the Truck party, is now online for anyone who would like to listen to it. It is 18mb - apologies for that, but it is VERY VERY STUPID, so I guess that may make up for it.

The whole thing was done in about 3 hours in Ableton Live 5 and then re-damaged live with plug-ins.

See you tonight if you're coming to the Jericho.

Merry Christmaaas!

Some housekeeping

As you can see from the wonderful gig display on the left, I am playing a gig with Under the Igloo and some other people at the Jericho on Friday. It will be good.

Last night, I played a "guerilla gig" at the Truck Records Christmas Party, appearing onstage at the end to much consternation and some dancing. I'm currently attempting to upload a live capture of the 20-minute-long Christmas mash I made for the occasion, but my site won't let me at the moment. OH JOY.

Problems

My site is a bit broken at the moment - I am attempting to have it fixed. This is something of a test message - so well done if you are reading this.

Trance/techno game music requires your vote!

I've actually been busy so the blog has been relatively quiet. Anyway, I've returned because you people totally need to vote for Determinance as album of the year over at Oxfordbands. There's some good stuff in there, but I'd like to defeat it all. The voting thing is on the right-hand side.

Thanks to Nightshift for making Spacetime one of the tracks of the year - that was heartening. Also, my amusing face is in this month's Computer Music magazine, so you can...do whatever you want with that information.

Sure do need some warmin'

I am just about to leave for the Gappy Tooth Winter Warmer - hope to see a plethora of rabid punters fresh from the rainy wilds.
