Wii

This is a momentous day for my career as a journalist:

"Find: Revolution

Replace with: Wii"

OK, yes, now you're doing it deliberately

Truck Festival lineup announced today:

"65daysofstatic, Alva, Anat Ben David, Buck 65, Chicks On Speed, Chris McMath, Chris T-T, Colony, Emmy The Great, Fell City Girl, Foals, Forward, Russia!, Gaptooth, Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, Goldrush (TBC), Harlette, Hundred Reasons, Jakokoyak - I HAVE FIXED DROWNED IN SOUNDS' OWN SPELLING MISTAKE HERE!, Jetplane Landing, Katchafire, KTB, Manic Cough, Morrison Steam Fayre, My Mayo Mai, Mystery Jets, nervous test_pilot"

Putting my underscore in the wrong place has now become a running gag, it would appear. Next year I fully expect "n_ervoustestpilot" or some variant.

Didn't even know I was playing this year, but hey, I guess I am now. Who knows what I'll be playing exactly...greatest hits compilation? The banjo? An air-raid siren?

Mode 7 Games blog and Saucy Seth

I am busy like a beaver on my forthcoming feature in Edge, but additionally will be throwing some things at the brand new Mode 7 Games blog.

Expect a Saucy Seth and the Clams of Death interview when I have the time to type it up.

Considering migrating this wonderous opus right here over to a Wordpress-type system - Blogger PALES in comparison. Cue immediate termination by Blogger....hmm.

Highpoint Lowlife

I've just reviewed Izu's "Going Salamander" for Pixelsurgeon, and I'm sad to say I found it pretty disappointing apart from a couple of tracks.

However, his label, Highpoint Lowlife do have a few very nice things on offer. Go over there and download some of the free tracks. I'm a big fan of The Village Orchestra's "Love Theme from Two Man Rumble", which is one of the nicest electronica tracks I've heard in a long while.

Support the Best Band in the World

Feisty synth-poppers Trademark are embroiled in Channel 4's Popworld competition. It is imperative that you go here, vote their track a 10, and listen to it lots and lots of times, download it , and also text in a vote.

If they win we'll get to see them on Channel 4.

They must triumph. They shall triumph.
